Ko Lipe is on the southern part of Thailand. Legislation has exempted the island from certain laws regarding development, water and waste disposal. The island name means “paper island”.
Things to Do in Ko Lipe
Adang Sea Tours-Operations run from November 1 to May 15. They offer speedboats at three intervals daily, 11:30AM, 12:30AM, and 2:30PM. The boats depart Pak Bara and the trip lasts 90 minutes, with roundtrip fare of 1,200 baht and one-way fare of 650 baht.
Walking-The island’s small size is conducive to foot travel.
Beaches-Sunrise Beach, Karma Beach, Sunset Beach and Pattaya Beach offer scenic views and calm shallow waters.
